Hi,

One of my turbo to intercooler hoses has split, and it's not the 90 degree elbow one which seems to be a common failure.

It's the short one after the metal pipe which attaches directly to the turbo side of the intercooler, the rubber part of pipe number one on the picture.

I can't seem to find a replacement for this anywhere online and wondered if anyone could help?

Thanks
Jacob

That's the one off eper, not sure why it's so small :/

Because I only want the 1 rubber section, I believe the dealers only sell the whole section with a metal pipe and 2 rubber hoses at great expense.

Which section is it under on eper. If it's the pipe I split that you are talking about then fiat only sell it to you as a kit of two pipes. I fixed it for about £14 in the end.

I'll check the eper again when I'm back at my computer for you.

So the set up is turbo-90 degree elbow-metal pipe-short hose-imtercooler.

Its the short hose directly before the intercooler that's split.

Its a bit of an odd shape with a couple of different angles in so not sure if a non oem hose would fit.

Ye it was the pipe I thought it was. I bought a 45 degree bend silicone pipe and then kept cutting it down bit at a time to fit. Held each end with jubilee clips. There obviously isn't a fixing on this pipe like the original though so it's being held on using a cable tie and so far no problems. I got this 48mm fluoro lined pipe from eBay hope this helps.

Brilliant mate thanks!

What did you trim it with, just a Stanley knife or something?

I've already ordered the 90 degree from them for the hose before this and seems like decent stuff so might just have a crack with that one too, 17 is a bit cheaper than 72 which is the cheapest I've found from a dealer.

Jacob ye just cut back a bit at a time and keep offering it up. I did the same because I wasnt sure which I'd need so I've still got the 90 degree bend to change at some point when I can be bothered. Glad to have helped I nearly bought the forge kit which although it will be good I can't justify that much of a price difference for a bit of silicone piping.

Yeah I looked at the Forge hoses but £176 is too much for me! I asked if they'd sell the one I was after separately but no luck.

I'll have a crack at getting it sorted after the weekend, thanks again mate.
