Having trouble getting the rear mudflaps on my GP. ordered from Fiats website so no alterations or anything. Just managed to get the fronts on with the time I had. Came delivered with just plain, painted them and wanted the dot above the P the same colour on the metallic badge on the boot, can always go over it with the colour once I find it.

My friend got some, they were not direct fit, I'm sure there is arch liners to remove and trim, they looked awful no matter how we positioned them, to the point checked with Fiat to make sure they are right.

They're a doddle to fit, one screw in the underside of the bumper remove and position mudflap then put screw back through, remove road wheel and then loosen torx headed screws from arch liner and then tuck mudflap in behind arch liner. Refit/tighten all...job done!

See his looked nothing like that but original OEM, even the lads in the work shop hated fitting them :(
But that was 6 years ago mind . .

It's not the sporting model no, and no side skirts as of yet. Maybe after summer. It is the earlier model which I thought was the problem but they surely would still fit? It looks like it has a miniature mudflap as standard, best way to describe it. At work and it's dark out so will get a picture up tomorrow. Thanks stepheno I'll give it a shot tomorrow! Your motor is looking tip top I must say, love that colour... contemplating getting mine wrapped with that or possibly another colour...

What do you mean it's an older model? The rear mudflap set from Fiat will fit all grande punto models inc sporting etc. It's the front ones that cause problems on sporting's (cos of the skirts) but they fit all other models

Because it's the blue badge model, red badges are virtually the same but have a face lift basically

I managed to adapt and fit rear mud flaps to the front of my GP with side skirts LOL :D (y)

Rears are now on, couldn't budge the screw no matter what I done, will end up fecking the head before it even budges, slotted in a bit of duct-tape, not too bothered at the moment. Working in an hour so will need to do one way or another. Just waiting on my Heko wind deflectors and that's this week's mods done. Possibly up for some Eibach springs, depending on prices etc. Obviously needs lowering as it is just standard springs so the gaps around the arch is idiotic.

They just make it look 100x better! Only £39 or something for both front and back sets, easy to install and will increase the looks! :)
