One of the most common frustrations on this forum I think :')

As far as I know, the only way to do it with blue and me is to buy the adaptor jobby which I remember seeing for about £60? I'm unsure of the name of it or where from but someone here will know.

My blue and me is uninstalled and I bought a wire off ebay that goes into the back of the HU for aux input and hit the cd button.

This works 70% of the time, the other 30 it says no source detected despite the cable/ipod being plugged in so it's not ideal.

May aswell just get a decent headunit stuck in there if its £60 to play a song from my phone lol!

If you don't have blue and me all you need is a cable and set of radio removal keys. This is a combined set on eBay for less than a tenner.

When I had my GP this is what I bought and with a little fiddling you can pop the wire through the bottom of the dashboard into the little pocket under the radio. It's a perfect place to rest your iPod/phone whilst it plays sweet sweet music.

You will have to disconnect the blue and me cable to fit that cable in it's place. You will lose blue and me functions but if you aren't using it anyway then it's not a loss. However I'd ask someone that has installed this into a blue and me unit before. when I did it I never had blue and me in the first place
