Looking at changing my gearbox oil and rear engine mount to the powerflex one to hopefully keep my gearbox lasting (or at least thats what im telling myself). From threads I've read previously I see I'll need around 3L of 75W80 GL5 transmission oil and FUCHS seem to be the best recommended brand. However euro car parts are currently selling the same weight Valvoline oil for £6.84 a litre so seems silly to pay more if this product is as good.
Looking for advice if anyone can help?

I'm planning to do the same, I have 2l of comma 75w90 gl5, do you think that'll be enough?

Also how exactly would you do these 2 things, never attempted it before.

Think its 2.3L or so you need so you might need some more.
Oil is, drain then take out the battery and I think the battery try and fill from the fill point underneath, from what I've read. The engine mount I'll have done by a friends garage.

So is the drain plug on the bottom of the gbox I'm guessing? Then fill from a hole underneath battery?

Ah, is the mount a specialist job?

Yup that's my understanding, do a quick google for m32 gearbox oil change, there's looooooooooooooads of threads about it.

Im presuming the engine will need lifting slightly to allow the removal of the old on so unless you've got a car lift etc. id presume so? Someone can correct me if I wrong though by all means.

Tutela matryx is 75w85. Recommended in handbook for sporting jtd gearbox. This is what I got...

I got mine off shop4parts ?

Hey mate,

just getting round to ordering a different grade Gbox oil, going for the handbook recommended Tutela Matryx 75w85.

You say you got it from shop4parts, when I search the 1.9 it suggests Tutela Technyx which is obviously not what I want.

Did you just buy the matryx 75w85 suggested for another car, e.g. Alfa 159?

Cheers
