Evening all,

I've been having a few issues with the Blue & Me media player recently - just little niggles that drive me up the wall :bang:

I added some new .mp3s to the USB input a little while back, and it doesn't recognise them i.e. it only plays the songs that were in previously. The system likes to have random hissy fits too: sometimes it decides it really likes a song, so won't let me skip it; it likes to play different songs to the one I've told it to from the menu, and even goes off on random tangents in completely different playlists/folders; sometimes it decides to 'build my media library' again and again, despite me not having touched the USB; plus I've selected the 'Auto-play Off' setting, but it still auto-plays, even when I've taken the device out.

There are a few other faults too, and it all makes me into an angry ball of rage. So, is it me at fault - or is Blue & Me just abit crappy?

I get issues with it to sometimes the only way to get the media player on it to speak to it coz its not on the source button it is a temperamental thing to be honest but is gud wen it works

Right, it's really beginning to irritate me now - I can't use the menu at all with the steering wheel controls, or the hands-free kit, and it's not letting me skip songs in the media player, but it does for CD and radio. Can anyone help? Is there a way to reset the system? It really is being a massive pain in the arse.

Disconnect the battery and leave for 10 minutes. It's a windows based system and crashes sometimes.

There's the problem! Cheers, I'll give that a try I imagine I'll have to re-pair my phone over Bluetooth afterwards?

It worked Now just to work out why it only plays select .mp3 files from USB

That will depend on how it's saved on the USB.

If your using I tunes need to make sure it's converted to MP3

Don't worry, I've done that

Most of my iTunes library is .mp3 files from CDs - the ones downloaded from the Apple store are .mp4, and I've converted them accordingly using iTunes, so all of the songs on the USB are .mp3.

All of them are named properly too. It's only certain songs it doesn't like, and I genuinely don't know why. It'll attempt to play them (the title will appear) but it skips randomly to another song.

It doesn't seem to be anything obvious. The file size doesn't seem to matter either, I'm truly baffled.
