HI Guys,

Its really nice to join a comunity or should O say Family of Fiat Fans!!

I need your input on the tire selection for my Fiat Punto 2011 the default tires are Goodyear - GT3 - 195/60 R15 and the front 2 tires needs to be changed. So before I go in for the same set would like to know if I could use a better tire for the front or change all 4.

Please advise.

Thanks All.

Personally I would change them all mate I recently went for Continental Sports Contact 5s. I have to say they are brilliant and the grip is awesome!

Can you give me the name and model of the tire please.

Thanks for your input.

I'd take a harder look at what you consider is "better."

The Conti SC5 is from the Summer Sport envelope - whereas the Goodyear GT3 is from the AS Touring envelope.

are you sure of the size? im sure stock is 185/60/r15 (but since your not in Europe there might be a difference in stock fitment

i have recently replaced the 2 front gt3's on my grande punto evo to Goodyear efficientgrip they are far better all round tyres so far they grip better in the wet corner better and dont collect stones like the tread pattern of the gt3's do

Goodyear effecientgrip are excellent, only downside is the cost for ones to fit a GPS

Yea I have been using the GT 3 for 3years now. I crashed my baby cause if the bad roads here in CHennai, India so there is some damage under the hood near the right tire which is rubbing the rubber off the tire. The tire is almost balled too that Is why the change. Ad yea the size is correct.
