Hi all!
Its been a while since i last visited this forum. I dont know how many times has this question been answered and forgive me for not searching properly!!
I found a good deal for t jet front calipers
Since i drive a sporting 95 hp with the 257 mm front disks i would like to ask if upgrading to 284 mm of the tjet requires this tjet calipers or mine can do the job
And if so what else would i need to do the fitting.
Eper is useless for this kind of information
Thanks a lot!!!

piston is the same 1x54mm.
the t-jet uses slighty bigger pads and with the added surfice of the 284mm creates more friction hence slightly better stopping power if any. i my self haven't seen an improvement woth mentioned. i changed the calibers , fluid rbs-600 and high pressure hoses but the feeling is not that good in contrast to the original ones. i for one suggest that you keep your money and upgrade the pads and hoses and you will be just fine.
if you proceed with the change your current calibers won't fit. you'll need the t-jet calibers and the brackets too. better try to find the entire front end used.

so its not that big deal to upgrade to 284 i presume. Ithought that the bigger diameter would do the job. Anyway, i found only the calipers and not the whole front end (no brackets or anything else).
So sticking with the original brakes and harder pads would be just fine , right?

yes my friend. definitely not worth it. i tell you my brakes feel like ****. the original ones are a far cry. stick with them and just upgrade the quality of materials. better pads and hoses. the fluid doesn't really matter. i've tried dot 5.1 which is the dot 4.1 successor and returned back to rbf-600 which are dot 4.1. either way the feeling didn't change . when it comes to fluids stick with the factory one. oh and another serious factor to consider is the bigger weight of the disks.the most worthless ''upgrade'' which basically is a downgrade.
