Hey guys, driving a 2008 GP Dub edition. Love the car, but we've run into a wee problem today.

You'll have to bear with me, my wife has it and has just been texting me the fault so I'm sorry if I'm not very specific.

She said the accelerator isn't working properly. She presses it down and there's no acceleration. At first I thought it'd be the clutch but she also said there's no rev either which makes me wonder if the pedal has a dodgy connection or something?

Can anyone shed light on this?

I don´t know if I have the same problem, but let me tell you, I have a Punto 1.8 HLX 2008, I´m form Venezuela, the car come from Brazil. So I dont know if the version are the same.

My problem is this: when I am in traffic the car begin to "buck" or "lurch" and make this in low revolutions, is like I dont know to release the Clutch, and then the engine warning lights start the rev go to 1500rpm and the accelerator or throttle dont work any more, if I push the throttle to the end the car stay at 1500 rpm, I can move anyway. I have to turn off the cars and start again and the engine light turn off and I can drive again, but the problem is repetitive
