Morning all, this is my first post on here!

My mrs has a 2006 punto and the passenger window won't close. It opens fine on both switches but it won't close. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Now it seems to be dead for good!

I've had the door panel off, loosened the motor and tried to manually pull the window up but that didn't work because the motors stopping it. I really need to get the window shut so she can drive it, we're not to botherd about a permanent fix just yet because we're waiting on the regulator to arrive from a special order at car spares :bang:

Any ideas on how I can get it shut?

Oh and I'm in the dog house as I opened the window when I knew it was faulty

Split wires in the drivers side door. The rubber sleeve that goes from the body of the car into their.

Need to peel that back as much as you to look for wires that are frayed or chopped in half.

That's how mine started and it's very poorly designed by Fiat as it's always bending and flexing with the door.
