Given it a good clean today, was fairly well clogged up. Its solved the kangaroo'ing issue, but still the turbo seems to spool up and then back off when accelerating slowly at around 2k rpm. Would it make sense that if the turbos boost pressure has been increased lower down the range, that the engine is getting more air than can be effectively used, thus causing the engine management system to cut the turbo to reduce the air intake? It only cuts the turbo for a split second then spools up straight away like its inbetween decisions. Cheers

I think i know what you mean is it a bit hesitant while creeping along at say 1800rpm, your not using much throttle and it seems to like idle higher of have like a slight glitch, if so indont think thats anything to worry about noticed this on mine at very low speeds tickling the throttle

I've had 3cars done at MSD, was it Blackpool? They are bang on, but I've never been on the Dyno?
Totally silk smooth,
We've used them for over 10years?
To the point it's a 4hr drive for me to get them done.

Yeah its like that, just a little niggle really. Seems to be one of the many popping up each day. I think im just gonna get it taken back to standard and look for a mk1 octavia vrs. I love the fiat, my 2nd grande punto after my first 1.4, but an extra 2 doors would make the world of difference now i have a little one, and the pram that comes with him. Was hoping to make the punto work for as long as possible. But all the little things going wrong, or not to plan, on top of the slowly fading plastic parts of the car just ruin it for me. I think i may be a bit OCD with little things when it comes to the car though.

And yeah it was the blackpool MSD, cant fault the staff there, all friendly, thorough, and knew their stuff, and the diagnosis for the kangaroo'ing was spot on. I guess the remap was just one of those things that weren't meant to be
