Hi guys needs bit of help, when I'm driving slowly and steering it feels real rough and like a dry scraping noise, now the red steering wheel comes on but if you switch engine off and on like it says in manual it goes off, driving at normal speed feels ok. I wondered if it's the battery and low power would it still feel rough and have the dry like scraping noise??

Check battery with meter should read about 12v engine off and 13-14v running... Could be electric power steering? Do you have city function? It is normally easier to steer when you move faster

Hi Tim do u still think it could be battery if it's scraping and juddering??

It's unlikely but if there's nor enough power it's possible.... However these cars do have steering problems it's all on here somewhere lol.... I believe it's could be a number off things but you should look for common faults on here check them off first
