Hi

Just a quick one, 57 T-Jet on 82000 miles.

Tonight whilst driving back from the cinema with friends the car was pulling heavily to the left, got out checked tires all inflated well. I suspect something do with the front left suspension, when I press down it presses down but isn't very 'springy' like the other side, back etc. The car looks and feels higher on the right than the left when driving, not obvious but you 'just know' some things with your own car right?

Going to bob to the garage tommorow, just looking for possible causes etc before going if anyone would be kind to advise?

The pull doesn't feel like tracking either as the steering wheel is sitting biased to the left with the pull if that makes sense...

Cheers!

Thanks might be a good excuse to bang some eibach sportlines on all round?

Edit: Assuming it is the springs and nothing else, fingers crossed!

I put sportlines on mine for the same reason last year, failed its first MOT due to a broken front n/s spring.

Only a small bit off the end of mine had gone so it wasnt actually noticable when driving.

Ok, so this is awkward.

Turns out it was a flat tyre.

Que, me and RAC man rolling around laughing baha.

Because they're low profile it didn't actually look flat, and given I check them weekly i'm pretty ashamed tbh

Don't worry no one will take the micky out of you just ask AgnessGP about removing his door handles to paint them then shut the car doors.. No one ever remembers after a few..... Years

mate had exactly the same!!!! Apart from the door handles haha.

I posted a thread a few weeks ago like '**** I can't drive straight', 'car just pulls on its own'. Turns out the back tyre was flat to the ground haha. I blamed suspension like you

I have a problem with Dubster constantly pulling to the left.
It's not the Tracking as I've had that done countless times at National Tyres Ayr, it's not a flat tyre or a broken spring as the car was MOT'd in October.

I've had this pull for nearly 2 years & it seemed to happen not long after I got the car back from the repairs after having a minor RTC in January 2012.

Anybody know what it could be?
Btw Dubster's a 1.2 GP DUB on 15" Alloys

When they did tracking, did u also get camber and castor checked apart from toe? Any evidence of previous accident damage? Or maybe perished wishbone/linkage bushes?

When you say constant, does it mean all the time? Or just under acceleration/deceleration? Did u get any work done on your brakes? Might be a sticky caliper causing the problem
