Morning all - after any advice going if possible!

We have an 06 GP 105 Activ.

Around 6 months ago it had a new body computer from FIAT as the old one had corroded, causing gremlins like a permanent draw from the battery, and failure to turn off the ignition after key removal - quite fun!

Anyway, its been fine since.

The other night, our headlights got stuck on main beam, and wouldnt come back down to low beam. Next morning it was fine again, but within a few minutes, they were back stuck on main beam.

Bulbs are both fine. Stalk is fine and gives the blue high beam logo on the dash. I can hear a faint clicking from the body computer area on pulling the stalk, but need to test this again when im certain the fault is showing.

Im pretty sure it isnt a loose connection, or water issue around the body computer - on reading past threads, it seems it might be a relay? Can anyone point me in the direction of location this?

Any other thoughts appreciated - dont want to do too much dazzling of oncoming traffic before I get it sorted!

Hi ,The same thing has happened to my o6 punto grande last night, had it to my normal garage today and he said it was the stalk switches . We replaced that today and they now work 95% of the time so we need to look into this a little more if we find out will post on here

latest update:

Was fine for a few days, then driing along the A14, the full beam got stuck on again (totally random, not even when i went near the stalk).

Got home, parked up, turned lights off.

Ten mins later, the car is sitting out there with full beam stuck on.

Went out, turned them off, ten mins later same thing happened again.

Disconnected battery overnight, same prob exists this morning.

Have removed the main beam relay so that all i can use is low beam, but thats not an ideal fix! Anyone anywhere got any thoughts? If its possibly its a body computer fault im straight back to fiat after shelling out for a new one a few months ago....

Sorted it today it was water in the fuse box with slight corrosion to 1 pin. Took about a hour to sort. Took all connectors off and blew all moisture out of the fuse box Looks like water been coming in from wheel arch to me and splashing up on to fuse box. Have now sealed the suspect area !
