Styling My New Black GP

Styling My New Black GP

The first actual modification I did was to add small DRL's on the it's of trim where the fog lights should be. I don't particularly like them in the day but I have to admit that once it is night time they do look good and I recommend them to any GP owner without fog lights and a small budget like me.

Where the DRL's easy to fit? How do you fit them? :p

I quite liked mine at night as well, and no they were horrible to fit, I had to figure out in the fuse box which part had power when the ignition was on because I didn't have the instructions to fit them, I had to take them off in the end because one of them broke, but at night they are good, I'm thinking of getting some new ones which look like actual fog lights, the round LED ones, I'm going to hope to get them next month because I have a new mod I need to post on here in a few minutes which has made me skint haha!

I think they make a car look mint but when it comes to wiring I'm clueless.
And oh **** haha looking forward to seeing this then...

I would love to go gun metal grey, but I don't want to ruin an amazing set of alloys, plus I don't want to pay to get them professionally refurbed! think I'm going to leave them for the time being, see what the future brings!

I wouldn't say it ruins them.. Just would have to get them professionally done if you didn't like what you do to them.
They look nice but would look banging dark.

that's what I think, it will defiantly finish it off if they were dark!

That and.. I might be totally wrong but depending on what colours you have in your interior, what about a red vinyl on the exterior?

I was thinking that as well, I'm going for the red and black theme, next job is red callipers and possibly theseImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1398622779.227176.jpg

Red Calipers stand out more than you think they will.. Look pretty cool.
And yeah I was thinking more of a sport style stripe from roof to bonnet

I personally don't think that bonnet and roof stripes look good on a punto, not my kind of thing ha

I just want to say thanks again Mark, I've been looking for a set of these for 3 months now and I'm so happy with them! It's amazing what a decent set of alloys can do to a car!
I would love to get them professionally refurbished in gun metal grey, did you get yours professionally done?

I'd love to get these professionally done but it's dead expensive, are the tyres balanced by any chance? I've noticed a bit of a change in the ride and it doesn't feel like they're balanced

Not sure about balancing so I would get them checked out mate, that's probably the case - I hadn't used those alloys/tyres for well over a year! have you checked the tyre pressures as they'll obviously be different with different wheels/tyres
Kind Regards,
Mark

yes mate I think I'll get them checked at work and yes I've check tyre pressures, they're fine now, absolutely love them at the moment, they've improved my car so much compared to the last set!

also, did you buy the abarth black headlights for your old GP? I want to get some but I don't know how hard they'll be to fit!

Yes I did, they are a fuc*ing nightmare to fit, you have to drop the front bumper to get them out- which involves removing the two bolts attaching the bumper to the wing!! The rear Abarths on the other hand are very easy to fit!!
