Looking to purchase my T-jet this week and I'm after some advice. I want to stiffer the suspension to stop the car being all over the place. Also I want to improve the brakes.

What lowering springs should I be looking at? Am I better buying coilovers?

I'm also after some white/blue bulbs, what are the best ones for that? Headlight and sidelight.

Also I want a debadged grill, where's the best place to get one?

All depends on how you want it to sit my mk2 is on coilies but cause am sitting on steelies (ready for winter) theres slight body roll but not much tbh all depends on the drop you want if you want it low coils are the way to go ;) was gonna get coilies for my grande but it sadly departed from me :( I got led white side lights for my mk2 from halfrauds since thats the only option I had when I wanted to detango my lights but am sure if you shop about you can pick some up of eBay :) and im pretty sure people get there grills from euro car parts allthough I could be mistaken hope this helps a little bit :)

Cheers mate. I want the car to be quite low as it sits quite high atm

I think ud be better off with just eibach sportlines, unless ur guna pay loads for decent coilies, most people like us have osram nightbreaker head light bulbs, which are really good :), and with the grill have a look in classfields on here as some one was selling them

A lot of people including me have Eibach Sportlines and I feel that they made a big difference to the handling, but as said earlier if you want it really low then coilovers are the way to go as the Sportlines do get rid of the huge arch gap on the GP but don't really make it that low. I think in the future I will be getting coilovers just for a bigger drop!

Osram Nightbreaker Plus are highly recommended for the headlights on here and I used to have a set and thought they were very good. For the sidelights some LED ones look great, but you will need to buy resistors for them or it will throw an error up on the dash.

For the debadged grill they are like gold dust to get hold of, I got mine from FK Automotive but they ran out of stock pretty quick and I think they have a big waiting time now. Not sure why Euro Car Parts was mentioned as they don't sell them but as mr and mrs tjet said they do sometimes come up for sale on here in the classifieds. Also I think you could get them from France on eBay but I'm not sure if you still can.

Hope this helps. :)

Standard brakes are fine on a t-jet man, just get some different pads or something.
Ive got h&r cup suspension kit on mine 50 front 40 rear, sits lovely and handles very well, another mod for handling is the forge subframe braces, suppose to be very good, am yet to get some.

Bulbs, i have bosch plus 90 headlight bulbs, they are nice and white with a blue tinge and are very bright.
I just have some ebay special sidelight bulbs which are coated blue but are white when on.

The brakes are very good as standard, i bought some drilled discs but wouldnt bother in future as the standard bosch ones are more than adequate.

I have Eibach Sportlines with the standard shocks and the handling is greatly improved with a slight drop in ride quality.
If you want coilovers i wouldnt go for cheap ones.

I also use Osram Nightbreaker plus, excellent quality and £11 a pair off ebay.

Cool. Cheers bud. Are the osrams really bright? Are they still yellowish or just white?
