This is exactly what I was talking about

Spanner and service coupon came up one day. Annoyed me for a bit then I just ignored it and it did just disappear. Haven't checked the control panel for the service mileage but I can guess its going to be at about 13000 miles now

It'll be at Zero, if it's to been reset it'll still be expired, just without the warning on the dash.

I can't see how that works, as the description given isn't applicable to the GP. 'Press until total mileage is shown'. On the GP the ODO is always visible except when in Menu or a Warning comes up on the dash.
