Right. This may sound like a stupid question but hear me out

How do I remove the wheels?

I've had a go at it today and three of the nuts are stuck and will not budge. Tried a bit of force but that broke something :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What broke? At a guess your locking key?

If it was a standard wheel but that made a crack or a squeak type noise that's normal if they have been on a while.........

If they are tight first nip the standard bolts up a fraction more about 16th of a turn but not the locking bolt this should reduce the tension on the locking bolt making it easier to remove then loosen the other 3 bolts..

Then Jack the car. Once in the air remove the 3 bolts fully

At this point the wheel should come off if not your going to have a fight on..... Under no circumstances rely on the supplied car scissor jack get it up on a trolley jack chock the other wheels and use axle stands ..

The aluminium wheel and steel hub / drum/ disc do a strange reaction called galvanic corrosion or cold welding a big hammer and a block of wood to tap the alloy from behind should release it

Coat contact areas with copper based grease but not bolt threads...

Invest in a torque wrench and a 17mm 6 point deep socket and tighten to 105 nm

I've just had another go (got a bit bored at home) and there is no chance of me getting them wheel nuts off. They are on really tight

Take it to a garage and slip the guy a fiver mate, they did thay for me.

Don't be tempted to go at it and snap your locking key - this also happened to me. Fortunately I know some Lads at a Tyre shop that used a special tool to remove my lockers but it wrecks the paint on your alloy, no biggy for me as I'm refurbing them anyway.

Is there anything I can do under here that will make it look better? Apart from a good clean :p

Wouldn't mind some of the pipes yellow

Yellow pipes and how about painting the engine cover?

I wouldn't do the whole cover. Just a bit of it yellow and I'd like to do a few pipes. But I have I no idea how :/

What about cone air filter?

The red light didn't really go with the theme of the car and it started it bug me one day. Time to crack on with the rest before Stanford now :p

A few new modifications this week

Had the Abarth lights fitted with the night breaker bulbs. Bee sting aerial, and the "clean." sticker plus the Italian flag

I'm really enjoying watching it come along. Just need to find a paint shop now
