Hey, so I don't really use the Forums, but here is my car, Gary. Hes had a few mods, but nothing too drastic.

- New Aftermarket HU
- New Interior Lights
- New Headlights (OSRAM nightbreakers)
- De-Tangoe'd the indicators with Chrome Bulbs
- New Ultra Bright white sidelights
- Took the stripe over the top of the car off
- Painted Drums black (nobody wants to advertise drums)
- Painted the calipers white
- New wheel nuts (Had to buy a locking key too because it broke)
- Oh, and technically I had to buy a new alloy.. cause my old one buckled. I hate curbs.

Anyway, here are some pictures cause me and a few mates went on a drive to try and find some nice spots. Also the police showed their interest in Gary :)

Nice car mate, would be nice to see the new HU and the interior lights that you've changed

Also what did the police say/do?

Ps did you rebadge or was it originally red badge?

Cheers, and yeah the Police did stop, but their words were "We are not here here because of you" apparently they were looking for a stolen safe and were checking the backroads... where me and my mates were taking "Countryside" photos haha

Ill post some pictures of the HU and the interior light later on, I don't actually have one of the lights cause I only did it today, and its very sunny.

The badge has always been Red, was thinking about getting an aftermarket front grill to debadge, but its £40.. for less stuff

Found some more pictures:

First off is the original car when I got it, as it can be seen the stripe is very much on, and the indicators look like egg yolk.
Also have the pictures for the new Bolts I got, and Gary in the Snow.

And it can be seen from the last photo the difference the new lights gave me, it looks much nicer and my visibility is much better too. Enjoy. New photos will be uploaded when I dig them out, I should really have started this when I got the car, lots of catching up to do.

So here is the story -

When I took my stripe off about 6 months ago there was a line on the bonnet that confused the hell out of me. It turned out the previous owner had lacquered the car with the stripe ON, leaving an epic double line on the bonnet, as it can be seen from the first picture.

So 6 months later and this line is starting to annoy me, so I got it sprayed today and am very happy with the results, its spurred me on to buy other things for my car too..

I have a badgeless grill coming from FK Auto and Team Heko wind deflectors also coming, an expensive but fun month for me :) Ill post some pics when its all on the car, meanwhile here are the comparison pictures before/after the spray

Wind deflectors fitted :) I like them quite a bit, and they do work as far as "Deflecting" wind goes. Pics below (still waiting for the grill tho)

how much where the wind deflectors? Interested in getting a set as well but I've got a 5dr...

And yeah, do they actually deflect wind and are they any good at reducing wind noise on the motorway?

Not too sure about the 5 door versions, having a look on eBay is your best bet. Mine were £33.22 from EBay, and I have yet to test them on a motorway because your supposed to keep the windows closed to let the rubber mould for 24 hours or so

Just a few pictures I took earlier that I forgot to upload

De-badged. Only took about 20 mins, all the clips are in and its nice and sturdy. Just used some WD40 to get it in, the old one shall be kept as a memory
