Hi, I have a problem with my wife's GP. In the past we had a couple of electrical problems i.e. the warning lights stayed on after starting and driving off but that seems to be sorted after a program update. After that the Punto would not start one day at the shopping centre and was fixed by changing the relays controlling the starter motor ect.

Now we have a new problem, when turning the ignition switch to start the car the instrument cluster loose total power except for the engine warning light. After the Punto starts the display is ok and everything in order, engine warning light out. Also the city resets to normal power steering after every start.

This is the South African version of the 1.2 Active 2006 model with 83000km on the clock.

Can you please assist??????

I got a general warning light on mine tonight but after driving 2 or 3 miles it turned off sadly I dont know the answer to my or your problem
