1.3 MJet or 1.9? 1.9 would be a good choice, hope you get a taker! (y)

I really can't see any benefit whatsoever for the MJET owner.

You'd be better off selling seperately and hunting on your own.

I went from Derv to petrol last September as my car usage changed for work, the OP may be lucky & find a Dev owner in a similar position. I know I sacrificed some performance for that...

I spend less on fuel now & 6p / litre cheaper but still having 43Mpg is a win. (y)

Do a new quote for your 1.4 sporting and I bet you'll find that's a lot cheaper as well, silly insurance companies don't take account of your age in anything less than years, so basically a 18 years and 364 days year old lad will pay considerably more than someone one day older than him, just because he's actually hit the number.

But anyway, your car does look great at the moment, but if you're dead set on getting an M-Jet for the power/fuel consumption. Stick it on sportlines/coilies and that heavy diesel lump will make it so low you won't need your splitter anymore, and perhaps it could go to a new home, like on a Blue T-Jet for example? ;)

Well ive done a future quote to see what it'd be like in March (approximately), and I'm still not understanding why my 1.4 is 700 quid more a year than the 1.9. Crazy.

If I was to get a 1.9 i'd take the rear diffuser, Abarths and grille with me.
The problem is with the Linea splitter.....how do I remove it when it's part attached with Tigerseal glue?

no idea why theres such a big gap in the insurance prices so far :S im 20 and upgrading from my 1.2 in a few weeks to a T-jet, but i looked for insurance on a 1.9 mjet aswell and they both turned out about 1100-1200 to insure, no big differences at all.

For the splitter maybe you could get a heat gun on it or something and slowly prise it off? then use some nova clean spray or something to clean up any residue left :)

Who me?

Orange 1.9 GP SPORTING 55 plate, with 33,300 on the clock, main dealer service history....as standard apart from alloy wheels in gloss black with orange lip....look sweet on the car....:D
