Drives well in reverse.

Engine cuts off immediately, when shifted to D

Looks like that the transmission is stucked.

Had P1705 fault code, but after I cleared it, doesnt come back

Any idea, what can be the problem?

Impossible to get an another cvt transmission here, the only option is to repair the transmission.

do you have nissan micras over there? later ones of them use the same box you just have to swap bell housing, loom, dip stick and tube, and selector lever

You mean K11 cvt from micra or march?

HI, I am new to this forum. I have punto 2000 1.2 16v elx speedgear tip-tronic gearbox. I can put in reverse but it doesnt go forward . you said get micra gearbox, but will it fit my car(with tip tronic), if yes, then which micra and model. many thanks

your in the uk, there is no shortage of fiat boxes here, just get a fiat one

Hi Dave, thanks for quick response, I have been looking for one but either it is quite expensive or cannot find one. if you can guide me, would really appreciate it. or if micra one would fit, then i am willing to have a go, just direct me. many thanks

i dont know what micra they come out of just that its around the same age as the punto, i only found out because some dodgy ebayer called "mad fiats r us" sold me one, but hadnt changed over most of the bits that needed changing.

cheap ones come up on ebay now and again you just have to keep looking
