General service reset

You don't have to take it to a fiat dealer or specialist my local independant garage reset mine for me when they serviced it. Unlike fiat they didn't charge for it either it just comes with the service.

Fiat dealers dont charge either as its on the service schedule, also you dont just put the service light out but reset the ECU service counter...crucial for any possible warranty claims and the true service history of the vehicle.

I took my car to an independent for a service that would meet Fiat's Third Year service schedule but they didn't reset the service light.
Does this suggest they didn't look at the ECU (which is part of the third year service schedule)?

{I notice they didn't charge me for a pollen filter either so I'm wondering if they did the full job}.

i think hes trying to say....you take your car to be serviced at an independent, they cant for whatever reason reset the service counter , so you take to a fiat dealer, and like my local dealer, they want £60 to reset the counter and extinguish the spanner .....therefore eradicating any money savings from going to an independent..

My snap on solus resets most service lights have not ever done a fiat but done everything else ive tried and most garages nowadays will have something similar as vitually impossible to work on any modern ish car with out a computer/fault reader
