Hello

Iam sitting here and order parts for my service on my GP T-jet

In the manual it says that you should replace your spark plugs every 1year or 30.000km

I have never heart that u should replace the spark plugs that often. I found out those spark plugs that is sitting in the T-jet engine is some special Irdium plugs

What do you think, how often should i replace

Morten

The manual doesnt state that they should b replaced every year. It says every 30K km
According to quite a few t-jet spark plugs i have seen at about 30K, i wouldnt say that they seem that bad ie they could last longer.
Have a check at the 30K service and according to their condition replace/keep them.

Still 20 pounds x 4 if they can last longer.

I know from previous cars that platin spark plugs could last 100.000km

Okay, it make sense check and replace if req

hehe i do know that i ve been studying+working at the uk for 6 years:p but i asked in case matt made a mistake(y)

30,000km = 18,641 miles.... or 18,000 miles in the world of Fiat UK servicing. ;)

The T-jet plugs are really sensitive, and suffer from flooding easily. We've had numerous cases where a new car has been driven off the transporter, switched-off, then refused to restart 5 mins later.

Hey Guys

I have a grande punto 1.4 TJET 2009 (59 plate) and was wondering if anyone new the GAP size for the spark plugs?

thanks:)
