Ok, so my wheels have correded in the middle from the previous owner Kurbing them and Salt water has got into them and they look.. ****e : )

So the question is, What colour? I Want either Black or anthracite like the Clio Cup. I wouldnt mind black as I would like to get gloss black wingmirrors and spolier and splitters etc. But I dont want to chav it up too much and Someone posted a picture of theirs with black wheels and I wasn't too impressed. But If anyone does have this done, Please post up pictures so I can have a look, And infact, In any colour : )

Would be a great help : D

Cheers !

I personally think orange and black go well, very well in fact. Ino my wheels are only small, but they are anthracite, have a look at them, gives you an idea. I'd go for gloss black though, imo.

When i brought my gp mjet the alloys where in a right state so i had em refurbed black and i think they look great. Here's a picture see what u think.

yeah they do look good. I think its because your car is darker aswell though. Would that look good on a bright orange one ? : P Or would the contrast be good ? If I were to get them black I would want to get my wingmirrors gloss black aswell as the spoiler ?

Whatcha reckon ?

Thinkin exact same thing myself recently and have orange GP too ( best colour imo ).
Have just seen what looked like a custom paint Lotus Elise in very similar orange and black wheels. Looked ace! Black definitely goes best, tho' white looks good too, much harder to keep clean.:)

I think that black would look better on an orange car than it dose on mine. i recon that black works really well if its used in contrast with compleatly differant colours e.g. white car black alloys. personaly i think it would look really gd on your car.

anthracite wheels, with black wingmirrors will look ok (y)

Ive got the two tone anthracite wheels off the abarth and theyre great cause they dont show the brake dust and dirt. One thing i hate with black wheels is if you kurb them they stand out from a mile away and dont get the same shine as anthracite. Just a personal opinion!

i had my wheels refurbed in gloss black as i had the common problem of corrosion! i was in 2minds like yourself whether to go black or anthracite. i reckon defo gloss black against the orange. i get so many people looking at my car! getting my mirrors and roof gloss black soon. have also ordered a flieyes kit for my headlights so they will be dark once they arrive.

whats that?

What sort of price should you be paying for a wheel refurb and then powder coating. Company by me are charging £250 for all 4 wheels. Not sure if that is reasonable or not
