Front Vinyl

I'm pondering copying most of the red sporting puntos on here and vinyling my front bumper, but looking at the car i see that the standard grill is kind of anthracite colour - has anyone tried anthracite/grey vinyl?

We have loads spare at work and kinda want to give it a go, but wouldnt mind seeing someone elses before I do it!

Also with the rubbing strips on the side, I want to take them off, but have seen on other cars that there seems to be a shadow where they used to be - is this right or is it just my eyes?

Re: Front Vinyl

Hey.....i vinyled my bumper black last year, i think it might look good in grey, perhaps someone can photoshop for you on here

I also removed my 'Punto' badge from the rear and it left a slight dis-colouration. cant tell now though. Think it depends on how old your car is, and i think red is the most notorious colour for fading!

Re: Front Vinyl

Yeh, was thinking the colour might have faded and would show where the strips are - but this would disappear after a while?

I'll have an ask on the photoshop in the forum, but really tell too well from it, take it no-one else has done theirs grey?

See the shadow/fading I was on about, and this is on a new car! Does it just look odd in photos, and better in real life?!

Dont want to do it and regret it cus it cant go back on easily!
