will a remap show up on my dealers diagnostic? i have a friend who had a focus ST done and it didnt show?

it will show if they look for it on any car, most wont look unless there is a reason to

so, say i suspected there was a problem with the turbo after i had the car mapped, would they spot it then if they ran a diagnostic? Cheers

but if they did find out about the remap could you not just take it to another dealer and hope they arent as knowledgeable or have the remap taken off?

Claims goto Fiat. Start a claim at 1 dealership then Fiat refuse. Take it to another dealership and when they try put claim through Fiat reply with "already denied."

It depends on the dealer. I never had any trouble with warranty work on my car after the map.

what if its just on 3rd year dealer warranty?

Dunno. Never really understood how the 3rd year warranty works.

I blame my source of information on warranties. Service reception staff at local dealer.
