Can you divulge more ffoxy? i asked arnold clark service and they said it was just oil and filter gets changed 3rd year but i wasnt so sure?

At my recent service I had coolant & brake fluid replaced Beany, along with all my filters, inc pollen filter. Oil changed as well.

Damn, why are they telling me it just needs an oil change? and why is it more expensive than other years where they do more?

I was planning to do it myself but now im not so sure.

Anyone know for deffinate what gets done 3rd year?

I asked for that to be done mate. Hadnt been done prior, so I instructed the garage to do the Service to the Fiat schedule for the age / mileage AND do the other stuff for my peace of mind.
 
Mine's in for its Third Year service tomorrow...!

I will ask them what they did, what they changed etc too.

It's a GP Sporting 1.9 tractor juice mobile. (y)

the service intervals are at 18k...

so 3rd year or 54k service:

Check tyre condition
Check lighting operation (all lights/ bulbs)
Check operation of windscreen wash and refill
Check positioning and wear of wipers
Check front disc and pads for wear
Check rear disc and pads for wear where applicable
Visually inspect condition or bodywork, underbody protection, rigid and flexible pipes (exhaust, fuel system, brake system)
Check cleanliness of bonnet and tailgate lock
Check/ adjust handbrake lever travel
Check exhaust gas/ fumes
Check anti-evaporation system
Replace spark plugs (not in your case)
Top up fluid levels (coolant, brake fluid, windscreen washer, battery etc)
Check condition of ECU using examiner
Change brake fluid (every 2 years)
Replace pollen filter
Replace fuel filter (multijet, every 2 years)
Check fluid for hydraulic clutch activation system
Change fluid for hydraulic clutch activation system (every 2 years)
Replace engine oil and oil filter (multijet with DPF, should be changed following warning light or every 2 years)
Reset service indicator
Road test vehicle

There you go.

If at end of warranty get all the "bits" that you are not happy with sorted and ALL the s/w updates
