recently noticed a ticking sound coming from my drivers side front wheel sounds kind of like a clock.

ive had the wheel off and had a good look round and cant see anything out of the ordinary and there are no sticks or anything stuck in the wheel to make that noise.

any ideas much appreciated

have you hit a curb or a pothole? if so it may be the bearings!

ii havent hit anything and have spoken to both my parents they claim they havent hit anything either.

Does the clicking go faster when you speed up, or is a constant pace?

seems to vary. ie it can but its pretty much constant.

stone in your tyre?

nope nothing visable at all. considered it might have been the flap for the indicators but thats fine also so im stumped:confused:

Could you try and drive slowly past someone to listen where the noise is coming from? Or just start the car up open the bonnet and have a listen?

only hear it while moving and its really faint

is there a clothes peg with a playing card clipped on it near the wheel?

lol na. think its my wheel bearing(n) gonna get it looked at hopefully.

It's a bomb...Matt Bin Laden and Tris Hussein tagged it on your car at Stanford.....

Check your brake disc- run a brush over the disc and see if anything is caught in it. I had this problem on my mk2 and it stopped after i brushed the wheel and disc/ caliper. So possibly something stuck to it?

Just dont touch the disc after any sort of driving as i did and i burnt my finger print off lol
