Hey,

I've seen some lowering springs for my GP that gives a 60mm drop. Is this too much?

I'm planning on going for a euro look but for the forseeable future I'll be stuck with the 16" fiat alloys that I have on atm.

if its the euro look you want then lower the better but id say you you will need some euro wheels to pull it off

That is the plan but I'm wondering if the 16 inch wheels i have on at the minute will be too big to fit under the arches when its that low?

And in reply to the potholes lol, i'm going to struggle all the time as there is a speedbump at work that I can only just get over now lol! There's going to be a lot of diagonal/sideways-ness :slayer:

You cannot get 60mm springs. Coilovers are your only option. And too big to fit under the arches? lol Have you not seen how big the arches are?! Go look at jamies car if you are going euro.

Do you mean cannot as in should not? And yeah I have seen how big my arches are lol, but I was unsure which is why I asked. What size wheels do you think i'd need if i was to drop it that low?

It means what it says? Its pretty self explanatory isnt it? You cannot get 60mm springs. Why does that indicate you shouldnt? 60mm isnt a massive drop anyway. Jamie is probably between 75-85mm and he runs 16's

The unique twist being its sitting on stilts? Euro is all about stance and smoothness. If you dont have these on a euro car it will look crap.

Do you actually have a punto? i'd say that 50mm wouldn't make it look like it was on stilts as standard punto's don't even look that high up. It may be about stance but where in the rule book does it say everyone has to be a sheep?

Mine will be euro because i'll say it looks euro. You need to stop patronising people

 Take a guess. My car is also euro im just not being a sheep either.

Do you not have very good eye sight?

My eyes are fine thanks, and I could say alot about your car but I have respect for other people's preferences. The whole point of modifying is to have something that's unique and different to everyone else's. If everyone wanted their car to be modified to look the same it would defeat the object.

Some people go for power some people go for appearances it all depends on what people want their car to be like.

thats fine, but what matt is saying that you cant call the look euro, as it wont be low enough to be Euro styled which means slammed on its arse, dished wheels, smooth everywhere and maybe wider tyres on back than front with some camber!
