Hi guys, first off im new on here so hi to everyone.

I got myself a 06 grande punto sporting 1.9 jtdm the other week and it seems to have developed a squeek when i go over bumps, i think its comming from the rear right handside of the car and think it could be the bushes, anyone had this problem before? Also does anyone know if this will be covered under warranty?

And on the subject of warranties, it says that i have a 2 year warranty and then it says an optional dealer warranty? can anyone explain to me what this is? i dont know if i have a 3 year one or a 2 year one!

Im sorry if these might sound like stupid questions but im really baffaled! lol

Try this, I am 99% confident you have creaky door locks, like me!

The third year warranty covers mechanical parts only, such as engine, turbo, gearbox etc. For more info have a word with the dealer who sold the car to you, or your local dealer in case you bought privately.

yea me 2 - its ur doors mate - i thought it was coming from the rear as well.

get it sorted - they do it under warrantee

i need to ring up the dealer on monday to see if im still covered under warrenty! i have to admit its really pissing me off, i have the radio on to drown it out!

exactly what i used to do if its an 06 im sure it will be! although if u bought it second hand will you still get the dealership warrante??? pritty sure u will tho mate

I started getting a similar sort of squeek a week or two ago. I have an 06 1.4 active sport. The thing is mine seems to come from the front right instead of the rear right. Could it be the same thing?

dealer wont know until they find the cause so theres little point in doing this.

yes mine makes this squeek mate , both sides @ low speeds over bumps etc, i have oiled all bushes etc, no good!?, the 3rd year warrenty u need 2 pay 4 £25 . fill in the form in the book, u r covered 4 another year then. please let me no if u find the cause of our prob, cheers
