(G) have i found a bargain?

i found in the local paper yesterday a mettalic red grande on a 06 plate with only 5500 miles on the clock for £3990. im presuming its an active.isnt that a bargain?it says they r selling it due to health. my dads considering it.what you guys think?

I'd be very very wary, but you never know. Ring and ask for a reg no. and do an HPI check, theyre £5 with RAC.com

Crikey sledge, im not disupting that, but i feel sorry for the poor saps who paid more than double that 2 years ago for the thing brand new.

50% depreciation in the first 2 years is pretty much normal for any car in this sector these days and a lot of people are going to be dissapointed come trade in time. Remember this a poverty-spec car, its not highly sought after and the market is flooded with them so it aint going to be worth a lot. The people to feel sorry for are the ones who bought their cars 2 years ago on a no deposit/long term low rate finance deal........they will be in negative equatity now and owe more than their car is actually worth.
