so i told him....

Went into my dealership today to complain about my engine squeaking every time I turn it off.

On approach to the carpark, I see a family of potential fiat customers just watching me drive into the carpark, they were all standing around a nice bravo at the time.

I go into the dealership, moan to them about my car then exit and go back to my GP.

I am then approached by who appears to be the 'father' of the family and he asks me "excuse me, is that your car? What do you think of them, are they decent etc?"

So i tell him:

NEVER BUY A FIAT!...

*jokes*

Ok, what I actually told him was "the GP's are nice cars, but definetly avoid the early ones, at a minimum go for an 07 plate as most of the 'new car niggles' would have been ironed out.

What would you have said in this position just after taking yours in for the millionth time after yet another problem?

I disagree as know many early cars with no problems whatsover, a good tech I know was one of first to buy a GP (1.4) and never had a issue.

Find a good garage to look after your car.

By the way this 'squeaking' noise when turning off, checked rear engine mount yet?

Re: so i told him....

well tbh i cant comment on a bravo... however the GP ... id deffinatly have to recormend the 1.9 mjet...

such a fun car to drive. and tbh for the money there isnt a car out there with as nicer interior styling. - however from the pics i have seen, i am not liking the GP2's interior as much as mine... (its the seats that i dont like as much)

Mine is a 56 GPMjet and to be honest it is the first new car I have had that has not had any major faults, and to be fair the small faults I have had (after 18000miles) the dealer has rectified under warrenty, even pointing out a couple of things that I had not noticed, so you must of had a "bad one" from the start or do you just rag the balls off it?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... Perhaps Im-Mia has found a use for the buttons on the seats?
