Footwell LED's?

My Footwell LEDs (neons) have arrived for my new grande punto
Thing is i have no idea how to get them to connect? I can see some wires at the side near the centre console but i dont know how to take the panels off to get to them :S

If anyone has done this before i would be greatfull for some help.

i used 5m of standard 2core cable in mine, it cost me £1.69 for it lol i used a terminal block to connect all the wires together so it wasnt that hard, the hardest bit is feeding the wired through the roof lining and through the dash, took about an hour if that to do

Exactly

If you wire them into the interior light, then they're on whenever the door is open, or you switch it on using the interior light switch

No, because the door pin switches are -ve Earth switches, so unless you wire the live feed from somewhere else there will be no point because they won't work. Also means they'll only come on when the door is open.

Re: Footwell LED's?

Mines wired to the celling light. It did take an hour to do.. the thing that takes the most time is threading the wire through the roof liner... pain in my a*** you will have to buy some more cable, I brough 5 meters of cable and thats a hell of enough!
