How much for dealer to fit fog lights?

How much do you think it what cost me to get a dealer to fit front foglights, all wired up with a switch somewhere inside, if I buy the lamps myself before? (bout £40 each).

Cheers.

I wouldnt imagine its the sort of work a main dealer would want to undertake. Seems more of a specialist thing even though it actually isnt.

Some dealers may consider it although I'd imagine the official answer would be It cant be done as it should run through the body control unit.

Re: How much for dealer to fit fog lights?

Strange, I have heard loads of people adding fog lights afterwards. If they say no what should I do? As I don't think I could do it myself.

Take it to an independant garage or an auto electrician. I would do this before i went to fiat tbh. Will be cheaper and if installed by a professional then there shouldnt be a problem with warrenty.

Re: How much for dealer to fit fog lights?

you can DIY but if your unsure about wiring get help a proper ratchet crimping tool really is a must to ensure a good sound secure connection

what ever you do make sure your wiring is neat and tidy protect it from chafing and take your time....

i put the relay and fuse holders for each light in a water proof box

Hmm yeah I'll ask Fiat see what quote they give then I'll try an independant place. How much would the private garage charge? Roughly?

Andy, ty for the guide, looks complicated. I think me and my dad could probably do it but to be honest I would rather it was done by someone proper.

Does this use the switch where the normal front foglights would go?

Im guessing the £80 is just fitting?
