Grande driver for the week!

Got a 1.2 as a courtesy car while the Bravo has some bodywork fixed. First impressions it's nice and light. Not had chance to see what it's like at national speed limits though.

Re: Grande driver for the week!

Having now followed the Mrs in the Croma.. all I can say is... that Croma really shifts!

I couldn't actually keep up with it around the bends which was very suprising. Seems ESP is more impressive than I give it credit for.

and to think all that time I thought I was a good driver

Re: Grande driver for the week!

No longer a GP driver.

Got the Bravo back today. The clutch is so heavy on the multijet Bravo compared to the petrol GP. Also noticable is the travel of the clutch. It's about half the distance on the Bravo as it is the GP.

Apart from that it was fun, bet the 1.4 T-jet is a blast.

edit: Oh and while I had the GP I saw at least 2 Bravo's every day

And the mystery of Croma rear tyre wear is finally solved ...

Re: Grande driver for the week!

If I need to do a 0-60, 3rd gear is best, changing into 4th when the needle hits approx 55mph sticks the revs right into the 3.5k power band.

Let the valve's bounce along the top of the bonnet, and only then change gear
