PIRELLI P ZERO NERO yay or nay?

yesterday i discovered that both of my front tyres have nails lodged in them! therefore i need to buy some new ones, from what i have read on FF the PIRELLI P ZERO NERO are the better choice over the standard BRIDGESTONE RE050A POTENZA. i was just wondering other peoples thoughts on them. I.E. general ware & tare over milage etc etc.

i have found them on this website fully fitted and balanced for just over £223, is this a good price (bearing in mind i have a family friend that im going to see tomorrow to see what he can do).

http://www.bestbuytyres.co.uk/Home.aspx any body used them before?/

i only have done 6000m on the potenza's so im not too happy, and the back tyres have yet to be checked

Do a Search on Tyres... this has been done to death. Pay what you want for your perceived value, personally my Sumo Firenzas at £50 per corner are top value for money, in every way. But then I am no tyre snob.

Re: PIRELLI P ZERO NERO yay or nay?

thats why im asking as when i look at website's they only seem to come up with the top brands and i dont know whats good and whats bad tbh. i have also searched about tyres this is how i came across the pirelli's but the threads dont have much info on what they are actually like for ware and tare and how long roughly they last, etc. which is why i asked..

Thats cool... enter Sumo tyres into Google. My 2 on the front have covered 15k miles now and have about a third life left in them, no problems with grip wet or dry. Rear Potenzas (originals are about half worn but do seem puncture prone, 4 in 12 months, whereas the Sumos have never "let me down" so to speak. Worth a try for £100 or so fitted I think?
