Did I Make The Right Choice

Sorry if i appear to be posting allot, im not spamming im just excited about my new punto, i cant wait till i can pick it up

Anyways.
I had a choice, of an active 1.2 in what ever colour i wanted, black or that realy nice dark blue they do... or a 1.2 dynamic which i could only find in a light blue but the interia has matching panels so it looks ok i guess...
I duno what are your opinions?

Should i have gone for the active in a nicer colour? because i cant realy do much with the colour i have choices with my dynamic, i cant add them sexy stripes, i cant add much kit, tints dont look as nice with that colour and so on...

I know it will hold the value better and i get allot more toys with the dynamic, but did i make the right choice?

this isnt the exact one but its simular, and i only payed £4990 for mine and its 1.2 petrol:P

Re: Did I Make The Right Choice

i say got a good deal, get the stripes done in silver (think someone has same colour and has done that on here??)? or maybe black with balck alloys

you should maybe get smoked tints,

mate you can still do anything with it, its a nice colour

Re: Did I Make The Right Choice

Hmm, you think black stripes would suit it? im not too sure there i didnt know you could get the stripes in silver, but im not sure that would suit it either :\
maybe if i went for a light blue and black theme, still doesnt look anywhere near as nice though...

Funny in this thread you bought the 1.2 dynamic, but in the crazy steering thread you bought the 1.4 dynamic sport, Cant you remember what car you actually bought?

New Grande Punto Crazy Steering Idea!!!!

I recently baught a Fiat Grande Punto, i should be picking it up later in the week!! can't wait

I noticed the punto has this power assisted steering button where it makes the steering ultra light for parking.

Would the punto end up on its roof if you was travelling at 90mph and turned the power assisted steering on and then turned the wheel to full lock? lol, would be crazy, i would love to see what would happen

doubt anyone would do it though, i certainly wouldnt.

Thats not why im here, im just here to gather your oppinions of your grande punto's.

I purchased a light blue 3 door 1.4 dynamic sport, with the light blue seats and pannels to match.

Re: Did I Make The Right Choice

No i cant, i think it was the 1.2, but it had 6 gears :s and i hear that its only the dynamic sport that has the 6 gears.

Only the 1.4 16V and the 1.3 90bhp and the 1.9 diesels get a 6 speed.

Re: Did I Make The Right Choice

Exactly, but they said it was a 1.2 so im just going to have to wait.
I know it hasnt had any mod's because the previous owner before the guarage i baught it from was an old lady and her husband died.

But if it is the sport I would be disapointed, it seemed sluggish on the test drive.

Re: Did I Make The Right Choice

the 1.3 is really a 1.2 though, just fiat called it a 1.3. its still only 1248 cc on that add so maybe why they call it a 1.2

I dont think we can decide for you whether you made the right choice tbh.

its up to you to decide whether you made the right choice.

Re: Did I Make The Right Choice

Hang on a sec, the garage/dealer gave you a test drive and you haven't passed your test yet? spoke to my dealer and they are not insured to let learner drivers take a test drive.....

Something about this says your lying.

If I was getting a new car and was so excited about getting it I would have read every review on the net and when at the garage/dealers would have looked at every nut and bolt, played with all the switches opened the bonnet and asked what engine is that then......

Alot of dealers can forget to even ask if you have a license. I have done it in the past a few times, wonder if any of them didn't have licenses?
