Re: grande punto strut brace

I don't think anybody has yet.

The only one I hve seen available is the OMP one. I think you can find it on ebay and on the strutbracer website. I'm not quite sure how 'tailored' it is to the GP though.

Yeah, nobody on here has one ast time I checked.

Lowering is better option to upgrade handling?

Lowering will make more of a difference in handling and should be priority over a strutbrace, but a strutbrace should later be added. I'll probably get one when possible. Got plenty to do already though!

Re: grande punto strut brace

i had front and rear strut braces on my stilo (OMP) from strutbracer, cant recommend them enough! Think there might be abit of a problem getting them on the mjet when i looked there were a few bits in the way! Definetly made a different with the handling on the stilo.... all though it was abit of a tank std! and also helped tyre wear as i was chewing tyres up in 6-8k and was getting into 5figures when i had the strut brace fitted and yes that was rotating to with the rears to maximise wear

ill let some else give it a bash first lol

Re: grande punto strut brace

The problem with the omp on is that i'm not entirely sure if its built to fit the GP or whether its an adjustablr/universal one labelled as fitting a GP and requires more drilling

Re: grande punto strut brace

i'm about to lower it with the h&r springs. That's why i,m thinking about a strut brace. My only matter is why nobody hasn't installed one yet. over the internet there is not even a picture with a strut brace fitted on gp.

That is why I wondered if the omp one was an adjustable fitment rather than tailored. Try grande punto club site for pics?

Re: grande punto strut brace

not yet . But i can't make out a simple phrase in that forum. Nevermind thanks for your time.
Since there is hardly anyone who has fitted one in fiatforum probably its not something to invest in yet!!!
