Cool Sporting Alloys

Hi would I be able to put 17" sporting Alloys or Linea on a GP 1.4 AS without having to lower it or anything else.

Can you give recomendations but say the cheapest ideas if possible

They'll physiacally fit just fine.

But to make it look good you will want to lower it. To lower it on springs you are probably looking at no more than £200 including springs and fitment.

If you want it to look really good (and handle well) then buy a set of coiovers (lowest price £400) and have them fitted.

Re: Sporting Alloys

Just take your old ones off and put the new 17" ones on.
Then you can see for yourself how it sits then you will decide to lower it.
I have 17" rims on mine at the moment with standard springs and it sits high, but its not laughable! I just say to myself i am saving for coilovers.

Wink Re: Sporting Alloys

Sound cheers, I will have to see what it looks like when i get them.

What about other alloys like the linea style or any other aftermarket alloys will it be the same or is it just the sporting alloys that are ok because they are made by fiat?

Re: Sporting Alloys

Are you asking for insurance purposes or fitment
As the linea ones will definately fit and as long as the alloys are no bigger then 18" then your all gravy! (17" is the recomended)
Alloys you are looking for must have a pcd of 100x4 so then they will fit.

An easy way to find alloys that fit is by going on http://www.alloywheels.com/
and putting your car in the top left of the page.
