Is there any way to reset the service interval on my grande punto.When the warranty runs out I want to do my own servicing rather than lining the pockets of the garages.

I'm pretty sure it has been stated on here that it needs doing by a dealer.

When my dealer last serviced my GP they didnt reset the sevice indicator and the spanner symbol was still lit when I collected the car...(hhmmmm?)....anyway, I didnt have the time to let them sort it out there and then and arranged to call them in a week or so to make arrangements to get it sorted at a more convenient time......before I could do this the symbol went out on its own!
