(G) Just delivered...

I've been a lurker for a few weeks whilst I was sorting out my new car, and the advice on here has been unvaluable. I've just taken delivery of a gorgeous new GP T-Jet.





I bought it from Perry's of Aylesbury for around £9,900 with a full tank of petrol and the official mats. Sadly they didn't have any in Fiat stock with extras barring leather, so it's pretty standard. Shame really, as I quite fancied at least climate and cruise control.

The dealer was quite good, they kept me up-to-date as it progressed and the hand-over took just 30 minutes (which included a pretty harsh but not OOT GAP insurance sales attempt).

I'm delighted with it, the engine's loosening up nicely with 300 miles on the clock and I'm just taking it steady until it's got a few more miles underneath it before I really find out what it's got to offer. I can't praise the Blue&Me system enough - really easy to set up and the integration is just seamless.

Was on the phone (blue & me) today....quite funny at traffic lights when to other drivers look at you with the 'whose he talking to?' look on their faces

you mean invaluable not unvaluable welcome to the forum!! Glad to see you got t-jet wheels, now no one will think you have the better m-jet . Sorry, i could not resist!

I'm genetically incapable of buying a diesel, unless I was buying farmyard machinery or perhaps a generator or some sort

I find after owning a diesel that i'm the opposite... I can't imagine driving a petrol now, my driving style has changed so much and I wouldn't be without the torque.

Nice car, I see your doing the same thing I did by pressing every button you can find. I picked my T-jet up on Sunday morning, nearly went for red but ended up going for yob orange. Very subtle colour you see
