how hard to fit on my lil' 1.2?

i get excessive oil residue around the throttle body atm :)

If had oil coming out of my throttle body I wouldnt be worrying about catch tanks, I would be taking it back to the dealer and getting them to solve the the problem.

i have GSR

and its being doing it since it was fitted :)

:pthe oil catch tank collects the vapours from the breather pipe comming off the head, it will help keep the TB clean as well as the inlets, as the inlet to your intake point directly up i think you will benefit from it deffo.. :)

or it could also be down to the fact of revving it at donny and knackering the valve seals and rings causing heavy engine breathing...:p excessive crankcase pressure lol

depends on the internal constuction, good quality ones will have stainless internal baffels and stainless wire wool inside, they will also have aeroquip couplings then add in the cost of oil resitant silicone hose as you will have to mount it somewhere you can empty it.

A word of warning in cold weather keep an eye on it as you'de be amazed how often it will need emptying last thing you want to do it start sucking water into the engine

sorry to bring up an old thread. but i was wondering about catch tanks also.

i know that the breather ahs to go back into the induction system. so is this why there are two points of entry/exit on the catch tanks. basically for the breather system to pass through?
