Hi folks,

07 Plate, Grande Punto 1.4 Active Sport.

Since yesterday I have had a light from the dashboard on and being told to check engine. Now I have looked into the owner manual and it says injection system failure or eobd system failure. Now am already waiting on the car going into the garage for body work repair after a smash. Has anyone got any idea on the main problems behind this light coming on and repair costs. Would it also be best to go to a Fiat garage or should any local garage be able to deal with the problem?

Go to your local dealer as they will have alot more knowledge about this problem than any other garage, it should also come under your warrtanty.
 
Most likely nothing wrong - just electronic gremlin at its best - but yeh dealer :)

theres hundreds of error codes so really could be anything..........i'll take a guess & say you will have error P0105 stored in the engine ecu:)
 
Hi how did you get on with your problem regarding the system injection failue as my car has developed the same fault and it is a 2006 56 plate Grande Punto and is out of warranty so costs will be down to me so I'm interested in the outcome of your same fault...Many Thanks...Rab
