| Reverse parking sensors I have been driving my GP Sporting JTD for nearly two years now and still feel uneasy when reversing, I always have the nagging feeling I'm gonna bump the car behind! I spoke with Sextons about reverse parking sensors, they quoted something in the region of £250 fitted, the price is for four sensors painted in the bumper's colour though. Any suggestions please? Note the quotation was from Sextons in Swansea.

| Its a Sporthing | Re: Reverse parking sensors I think that if you pay 250 quid for four sensors then your going to be sexxed up the arse by sextons of swansea.

| Re: Reverse parking sensors In the end I got a good deal at Halfords, £200. I am very pleased with the result, the sensors are colour coded and there is a nice little screen visible from the rear view mirror that shows how far away I am from the car behind. I did not expect Halfords to deliver but they did, fair play to them.

| Re: Reverse parking sensors My dealer said he could not offer colour coded sensors and that the end result would not look right... Seems he wasn't that bothered after all! Nevermind, I spent a lot more than I should but hey, too late now! At least I am happy with the end result and, have to say this, Halfords exceeded my expecations, very rare these days this!

| Tom - 1.9 GP Sporting | Re: Reverse parking sensors lol i fitted my own, bought black ones, sprayed them with hammerite smooth red and they match the exotica red perfectly. I wouldn't worry too much about cost, just think if they've saved you atleast once from reversing into something they've paid for themselves already. Tom

| Re: Reverse parking sensors I've got a doblo. I paid £50 for a wireless camera. I can see the whole rear end - including towball & can park within a millimeter of whatever's behind. I've never liked the sensors because you're reversing blind, they don't work below 30cm - and that's a huge gap and are easily confused.
