(G) A bit of advice needed please!

My car was registerd in April 07 but the pre delivery service was logged in the service book as June 07. I only have 2500 miles on the clock so no way will i get up to 18000.

When do i need to book the first service?

The brakes are a bit sharp and the front driver's side rubs a bit.

Should i take it in to have them have a look asap or can it wait till i take it for the service?

Can anyone recomend a good dealer in the Manchester area?

Its a Grande which i got it second hand.

april 08 but to retain warranty it can be 4 weeks before/after this date.

If its something as serious as brakes then i'd take it in asap.

The brakes are sharp on a GP (most modern cars are these days). What do you mean byt rubbing, the pads are constantly in contact with the discs, so are technically always 'rubbing'. If they are squealing then this is common (doesnt reduce performance, just annoying), your local dealer can sort this with modified parts.

Brakes work fine,driver's side just sounds and feels as though its been stood still for a couple of week!

Glad they work ok, the main thing . Put a few more miles on the car, if its still making the grinding noise go see your local dealer and get them to check things over.
