Re: grande sporting insurance

Yep low insurance group due to it beng a deisel, but by low I'm talking £1,500 - £3,000 insurance for under 20's.

I'm lucky, I pay less than a grand to insure mine, and I'm well under 20 - Having said that I have pass plus and only do 16,000 miles a year.

The problem is buying the car 1st - thank god for being told to invest

Seriously? Please tell me thats with a conviction...

It also depends on where you live, and where the car is stored, i.e locked garage.

Thats a lot for a 1.2 - I suppose it does help to know someone in the insurance game though. I got it done through the same guy that does my company insurance - saved me £2K on that aswell lol.

Nope, i got a clean liscence (im a good driver ). Well i searched around for ages, an it was the cheapest i could get. I payed £1200 third party on a 1.4 ibiza for my first year which again was the cheapest i could find. And to be honest i didnt think my quotes have been too bad, similar to what my mates are getting.

Not looking forward to next year though, now i have a claim, but i'll be a year older as well....see how it pans out anyway, any suggestions on companies would be nice lol.

Re: grande sporting insurance

my insurance company wont insure me in a 1.9 untill im 21 but for a extra £200 i can be in a 1.4 sporting, now for the sake of 10bhp difference i dont see why i cant, but hay thats how it goes......

personally i would ONLY get the 1.9 mjet i love the high mpg and a decent amount of power!

and mark try quinn, my insurance for 1 yers no clams if £710.66 tpft i have pass plus and a clean license as-well though
