GP suspensions / shock absorbers

This is a real daft question: today I went over a shallow section of a road (i.e. it was dug up to be laid again, so was "dropped" by at least a few inches and was extremely bumpy) at about 35mi/hr. There weren't any construction/slow down signs and next thing I know it went BANG!!

Are the suspensions/shock absorbers easily damaged?

It should be ok as long as there is no difference you can feel in the car itself. The shocks are relatively new so again there shouldn't be a problem, thats what the bumpstops are there for

Re: GP suspensions / shock absorbers

Doesn't feel any different.. I was worried about tracking but that's always been slightly out..
