Once I learnt that Blue & Me was a Microsoft product I had to wince and think of all the problems that it may bring (not sure I fancy any blue screens or being forced to close and reopen my windows...)
And so, to my first (albeit minor) problem with my car.
It's nothing to do with the engine, trim, mystery bits of plastic, brakes or suspension, but the aforementioned media player. Now, it could be something of my own making - I've installed the Message Reader - but the Media Player has now decided I've no media connected - which is funny because my USB memory stick is currently plugged in.
Weirdly, it does look at it, as whenever I plug it in, or start the car, the LED on the stick flashes for a few seconds (plus the radio display says "Media Player") before giving up. However, it has worked, but it appears to have got confused after removing the key and inserting a different one (typically - the free FIAT one that appeared in the post!).
Can you just remove the key - or is there some sort of procedure to disconnect it (like on Windows when you have to disconnect any USB devices before removing them). I just wonder whether it thinks it's in software update mode again - perhaps I should try installing the software again?
Is anybody aware of any software updates?
