Question First problem...

Hi Guys,
took delivery of my brand new Exotica Red GPS 1.4 16V on Monday. She purrs like a kitten...I will upload some pics, once I figure out how to do that The question I have is regarding the Blue&me system. I have synced my Nokia 6630 with the car as well as the phone book. It is working perfectly, but when I place a call my caller ID is not sent every time I call someone, only occassionally. I have checked the setting on my phone and it is set to send the caller ID. Have you guys had similar problems? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: First problem...

I just got a phone call from some Fiat call center, it seems that they are recalling some 07 GPS due to some brake system component failure. Hope it's not too serious. Well, at least I managed to resize the pics

Re: First problem...

If its a recall its serious, and if its the brakes Nothing on the VOSA site yet. Maybe its confined just to your country.

Re: First problem...

no not you 'T-JET' I just despair when I see another 'my blue & me dont work thread'

http://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punt...o-section.html

"The Grande Punto has 3 main sections;

1) General.....for all your general GP stuff like ordering/sales/the odd complaint etc etc

2) Technical.....for all your technical enquiries/advice etc etc

3) Styling.....for all your mods/alloys etc etc

IF YOU CANT FIND YOUR THREAD...then its been moved to the correct section.

Also dont forget the GP guide section & feel free to add a guide of your own...prefably with pictures.

Please before you post any more blue & me or I-POD questions read the sticky in the technical section! Also make sure you use the search function before posting...lazy 'I cant be bothered to look' posts will be deleted,if you cant be bothered then neither can I.

Any cleaning related items please post in car care section.

Any queries or problems PM myself or any other moderator.

On a final note please respect the opinion of others (no one has had to be banned from the GP section yet so lets keep it that way) and thanks for all your contributions"

Think its confined to country as you say Sledge.

Fiat use a grade system for recalls, safety related & non-safgety related.

VOSA are painfully slow to put up any recall details, always have been.

Re: First problem...

T-Jet?
Mofo is in Bratislava, the specifications, options list and standard equipment they get over there are probably a lot different from those we get offered here in the UK.

Re: First problem...

TJET,
it is a center arm rest, I guess it is a country specific option, available in Slovakia

Re: First problem...

Re: First problem...

Different countries prefer different options (sometimes to comply with legal legislation) but the reason armrests were never fitted as standard to UK cars is they never get used as drivers on their mobile phones during most of the journey
