Help

I've got a 1.2 06 grande and I'm wanting to install subs into the car!

What is best to use....the headunit that is in the car or an aftermarket unit?? Not sure if the factory unit has the pre-outs I need???
And if I need to use after market where's the best place to get a surround for it??

Thanks for any help

Leanne

Re: Help

there are no preout RCA jacks on the factory head unit however you can buy a passive Pre-out unit from the likes of halfords (you need one per channel) which you put in paralel with each channel

take a look at this

http://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punt...onnection.html

you will need to take a feed off either the back of the speaker (which involves ripping the car to bits) or take off the back of the headunit (but you will need to know the colour's of the wires and if its +/-)

(and i really should download the spell checker for firefox )
